Max Mahoney-Schaefer

Max graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Biochemistry, conducting research under Dr. Farid Moussavi-Harami and Dr. Mike Regnier in the Bioengineering Department. His work studied the impact of small molecule myosin inhibitors from the protein to complex muscle level as novel treatments for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Outside of the lab, Max enjoys hiking, surfing, swimming, and reading (especially GRRM).Department of Bioengineering
